Serve on the board of the SJE

The Board of Directors of the Society of Jewish Ethics acts on all matters concerning the Society, sets policy, and leads the organization. Each year a number of board members rotate off the board. In order to ensure that the board reflects the diversity of the organization, we have an open call to the membership of the Society to nominate themselves or someone else to serve a two year term on the board.

Please send your nomination to the nominating committee, which consists of Past Presidents Michal Raucher (michal.raucher@rutgers.edu) and Joel Gereboff (Joel.Gereboff). In your nominating statement please attest that the nominee is a member of the Society, what their academic status is (graduate student, faculty member, independent scholar), and state the reason for your interest in serving on the board, or why you think the nominee should serve on the board.

Please submit all nominations by November 20, 2023.

This is your Society and we need you and want you to be part of making it the best society it can be.

Thank you for your membership and dedication,

Aryeh Cohen

President, SJE
